The Complaints Council’s decisions are public, although such that the complainant’s identity remains anonymous. The Council’s sanctions include a reprimand, criticism, warning or order to change practice. The Council cannot order members to pay damages or compensation to a complainant. However, the Council can issue a statement advising how a dispute may be resolved.
